My name is Laura Greenan and I’m a freelance illustrator and art director based in London, UK. I studied graphic design and illustration at the Kent Institute of Art & Design in Maidstone (now part of the UCA), and after graduation I worked for over 10 years as a graphic designer. I left this role in Jan 2017 in order to pursue a different kind of creative career as a freelancer, and to indulge my more colourful side!

I’ve been a huge fan of 60’s music and design since I was a teenager and my new work allows me to showcase my passion for this style every day. I develop unique, pop-art inspired, bespoke creative solutions for clients and use bright colours and pattern that engage customers and bring a sense of fun.

Illustration needs to be informative and eye-catching to reach a large audience, which is good for me as I don’t really do subtle! I do this work as it’s the kind that excites me. I like my artwork to be fun to look at, and to create.
